Cardfight!! Vanguard EX unveils original story with new characters. Izuru Shidou is the game's protagonist, an original new character by Cardfight's designer and franchise co-creator Akira Ito. The currently airing anime 2018, Cardfight!! Vanguard characters will also be included and its series' protagonist Aichi Sendou will also be shown. A tutorial for newcomers will be included to the card game, experienced fighters of the franchise will also be able to enjoy it.
